As a personal trainer, I focus on getting people moving. I believe Strong Fit and Powerful are more important than body image. I stress to all my clients that getting your most important muscle group (YOUR HEART) working every day is crucial. How do you do this :)? Exercise!

It doesn’t matter what shape, size or weight you are, GET moving. This article will not be a complete surprise to some, it compares obese fit participants against unfit normal weight participants. If you don’t want to read the whole article this is all you need to take away……

Stop waiting until you lose weight to get fit and if you’re underweight you need to be moving as well! I firmly believe you are far better off being the overweight fit person compared to the underweight thin person.

“It’s important to understand that while being leaner and fitter leads to a better outcome, there are positive life-lengthening benefits of exercise regardless of size. The most important message in all of this is ‘get moving’.

HOWEVER, if weight loss is not on your to-do list, and you are overweight, then still ‘get moving’.
